At Launchbox, we offer a variety of ways for businesses and organizations to get involved and make an impact on the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. Whether you're looking to share your expertise, connect with emerging talent, or support entrepreneurship on campus, there are opportunities to fit your goals. By partnering with Launchbox, your organization gains access to motivated student talent while helping foster innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship within our community. 

Project Connect

Project Connect is an experiential learning program that connects local businesses with a student to complete meaningful, project-based work.  As an organization, you identify a project or challenge where you would like support. LaunchBox will then match you with a student whose skills, interests, and experience align with your organization's needs, creating a meaningful partnership that benefits both the student and your team.

Project Timeline

  • Week 1: Student onboarding and project planning.

  • Weeks 2–7: Collaborate with your student for 8 weeks (10 hours/week), with bi-weekly check-ins.

  • Week 8: Final project presentation and program wrap-up.

Partner Commitments

  • Provide a minimum $500 honorarium to support the student's work term and recognize their contributions.

  • Submit the position details to the Launchbox Manager for review and placement.

  • Assign a workplace supervisor to mentor and support the student throughout their work term.

  • Commit to a brief check-in every two weeks with the student to provide guidance, feedback, and ensure a meaningful learning experience.

Partner Support 

  • We contribute $500 toward the student's honorarium upon successful completion of the work term.

  • Match you with a qualified student based on your project needs.

  • Provide onboarding for both partners and students.

  • Offer ongoing support throughout the work term.

Build A Business

Help empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing financial support that enables student businesses and startups to grow, innovate, and bring their ideas to life

Build A Business is an initiative that equips aspiring student entrepreneurs with the mentorship, workshops, and resources needed to launch and grow their ventures. Whether they're refining an existing business or exploring a new idea, participants receive the guidance and support to advance their entrepreneurial journey with confidence.

Host An Innovation Challenge

Partner with students to explore solutions to a business challenge your organization is facing. Participants apply research, critical thinking, and innovation to develop recommendations that address real-world needs.

  • Pre-Challenge Check-In: Meet with students to review the challenge, objectives, and expectations.

  • Challenge Launch: Present your business challenge and objectives to participants. (Challenges can run anywhere from 24 hours to one week.)

  • Team Mentorship: Guide and support student teams as they research, collaborate, and develop solutions.

  • Final Presentations & Judging: Evaluate student solutions and select the strongest final recommendation.

  • Gain valuable student-driven insights and innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

  • Receive exclusive access to student candidates for the Project Connect Internship Program.

  • Increase your visibility among students and faculty as a featured Launchbox Community Partner.

  • Provide a representative to present your business challenge and objectives to participants.

  • Meet with the Launchbox Manager prior to the challenge to review expectations and logistics.

  • Provide a judge, if possible, to help evaluate student solutions and select the winning team.
