Tia is the Founder and CEO of Blk Women in Excellence, a national organization that champions and supports Black women entrepreneurs through mentorship, business development, and access to capital. An award-winning entrepreneur, author, and powerful speaker, Tia brings lived experience, cultural insight, and a no-nonsense approach to helping individuals turn challenges into opportunities.

Her entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by resilience, community, and a deep commitment to equity. Tia has openly shared her battles with depression, anxiety, and ADHD—an experience she proudly names as her superpower. She has transformed adversity into action, building a nationally recognized platform that helps others rise above barriers and claim their place in the business world.

As Professional in Residence, Tia will mentor students, lead workshops, and offer strategic guidance to emerging entrepreneurs from all backgrounds. Her presence brings bold, authentic leadership to LaunchBox—bridging lived experience with entrepreneurial excellence.
