The Innovation Ambassador will assist in delivering innovative programming and opportunities through Launchbox for students at Acadia University. They will be expected to be present in the Launchbox space weekly and attend Launchbox events, assisting where needed in hosting, answering questions, sharing event information, and working with students. Optional responsibilities include working with the Launchbox Program Coordinator on developing event ideas, contacting guests, reaching out to partner programs and student groups, website editing and social media content creation.
The Innovation Ambassador will have the chance to receive training on coaching and will assist in coaching students seeking help developing entrepreneurial ideas.

As a Website Developer, you will manage and maintain the LaunchBox website using Webflow, ensuring it stays up-to-date and user-friendly. Your responsibilities include editing and updating site content, as well as keeping the event calendar current to showcase upcoming opportunities and activities.
As an Event Planner, you will take charge of organizing and hosting engaging events that bring together the LaunchBox community and beyond. This role involves collaborating with clubs and organizations on and off campus, brainstorming creative event ideas, and executing plans that align with a set budget. You'll be instrumental in coordinating a variety of events both at LaunchBox and other locations, fostering connections and enhancing the overall experience for participants.
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will manage and enhance LaunchBox's presence on Instagram and LinkedIn by creating engaging posts with compelling captions and visuals. Your role includes tagging relevant accounts, adding impactful hashtags, and actively engaging through stories by sharing updates and relevant content. Additionally, you'll attend events to capture photos for live posts and future content, ensuring LaunchBox stays connected and visible within the community.
As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will represent LaunchBox by building connections with clubs, academic programs, and external organizations. This role involves attending campus events, introducing LaunchBox to new audiences, distributing and collecting business cards, and giving talks to promote our programs. You'll also maintain ongoing communication with academic departments to share opportunities and foster collaborations, while promoting external events and partnerships to expand LaunchBox's reach and impact.
As a Lead Content Creator, you will shape the online personality of LaunchBox by crafting creative and engaging content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This role involves brainstorming fresh ideas, filming with students and stakeholders, collaborating with other creators, and producing at least one video per week. By utilizing analytics and insights, you'll help drive content decisions and showcase the vibrant activities and entrepreneurial spirit of LaunchBox.
