Beatrice Stutz was born and raised in Switzerland where she was trained in the Pharma industry.
In the Spring of 2000 Beatrice and her family moved to Nova Scotia and opened Domaine de Grand Pre and Le Caveau Restaurant.
In April of 2021, Beatrice alongside her husband Jason Lynch opened their new restaurant, Cumin Kitchen & Drink in New Minas and a couple short months later, in June of 2021, Beatrice and her team added the Inn to round out the offerings at Domaine de Grand Pre. Known as the James Crane House, and previous personal residence of Beatrice’s dad, Hanspeter Stutz, the entire building has undergone an extensive transition to open what is now the winery Inn. Beatrice has gained experience in the hospitality/tourism industry over the past 24 years as restaurant and event manager for Le Caveau and Grand Pre Wines and has now stepped up into the CEO position for Domaine de Grand Pre.
The winery, restaurant and the inn, have become a very popular destination for individual and group travelers from Nova Scotia, across Canada and from all over the world.
Beatrice is an executive board member on the Nova Scotia Tourism industry Association and the chair of the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource council.
She is also an active member on the executive board of WGNS (Wine Growers Nova Scotia) and the chair of the Nova Scotia Icewine Festival Association.
