First, let us understand both of its definition. According to Te’eni-Harari et al. (2021), “a personal brand represents a person who uses an array of practices and techniques to present themself on the various existing platforms.” And “Personal branding is an inside-out process that is based on the strengths and uniqueness of the individual in relation to a target market.” (Te'eni-Harari & Bareket-Bojmel, 2021).

After reading them, you still might be unsure about their definitions. Now to put into perspective, imagine yourself as a walking, talking advertisement for your skills, passion, and uniqueness. That's essentially what a personal brand is – the image and reputation that you build around yourself. It goes beyond a catchy logo or a well-designed website. Whereas for personal branding, imagine it as a strategic approach to managing your professional image. It involves carefully crafting and curating how you want to be perceived by others. This includes not only your visual presentation but also your communication style, values, and the way you engage with others.
