Dan Luton, CPA

Dan is a dynamic financial professional with a talent for dissecting organizations to their core. An Acadia graduate (BBA ’19 – University Bronze Medallist), he earned his CPA designation in Calgary while auditing some of Canada’s largest public companies. His career then took him to New York City, where he collaborated with globally-renowned private equity firms and cultivated an “investor’s mindset.” Now back in Canada, Dan works as an investment banker at one of the country’s leading financial institutions and recently co-developed a sustainable fuel venture, securing corporate sponsorship.

An Advisory Board member for Acadia’s F.C. Manning School of Business, Dan thrives on travel, ultra-running, and engaging with motivated individuals. He welcomes discussions on financial strategies, business concepts, or brainstorming sessions.
